Nach dem Ausflug  ins kleinere Grünspan ging es diesmal wieder in die Markthalle für Axel Rudi Pell. Und die war an diesem Sonntag Abend auch gut gefüllt, vielleicht nicht ausverkauft aber nahe dran. Alle Bilder gibt’s auf Flickr.

Den Abend  eröffneten Rebellious Spirit aus dem Süden Deutschlands. Und die Jungspunde heizten den Fans so richtig ein, Powerrock der Marke Mötley Crüe oder Kissin‘ Dynamite.Das ging so richtig ab. Es war beeindruckend, mit welcher Selbstsicherheit und Spielfreude die vier Jungs auf der Bühne standen. Da muss man um die Zukunft von Rock- und Metal-Musik in Deutschland keine Angst haben. Ach, und wer mehr von der Band hören will – im Juni des letzten Jahres erschien ihr Debüt-Album “Gamble Shot”.

Nach dem das A.R.P-Intro verklungen war, startete die Band um den Ausnahmegitarristen aus Bochum mit “Burning Chains”, einem Song des aktuellen Albums “Into The Storm”. Der Schwerpunkt des Abends lag natürlich auf dem aktuellen Album. Aber auch Hits der vergangenen Jahre wie “Mystica” oder “Too Late” durften natürlich nicht fehlen. Besonders gespannt war ich natürlich auf den neuen Mann am Schlagzeug – Bobby Rondinelli (Ex-Rainbow, Ex-Black Sabbath, Ex-…). Er erledigte seinen Job unaufgeregt und äußerst banddienlich. Sein Solo war hervorragend. Apropos Solo, auch Keyboarder Ferdy Doernberg konnte sein Können unter Beweis stellen. Nach einer Zugabe endete die Show – selbstverständlich mit dem größten A.R.P-Hit, “Rock The Nation”! Ein Super-Abend!

After the trip in the smaller Gruenspan Axel Rudi Pell has played in the Markthalle this year. And the location was well filled on this Sunday evening, maybe not sold out but close. You can find all pictures on Flickr.

The evening was opened by Rebellious Spirit from the south of Germany. And the youngsters have fired up the audience, Power Rock like Mötley Crüe or Kissin‘ Dynamite. This really went off. It was impressive, with which self-confidence and joy of playing the four boys were on stage. There is no need to fear about the future of rock and metal music in Germany. Oh, and who wants to hear more from the band – they released their debut album “ Gamble Shot“ in June last year .

After the A.R.P. intro had faded, the band of the excelent guitar player from Bochum started with „Burning Chains“, a song from the current album „Into The Storm“. Of course, the focus of the evening was on the new album, but also hits of the past few years like „Mystica“ or „Too Late“ were not allowed to be missing. I was especially excited about the new drummer – Bobby Rondinelli (ex-Rainbow , ex-Black Sabbath, ex-…). He did his job calmly and extremely band conveniently . His solo was outstanding. Speaking of solo , keyboard player Ferdy Doernberg also could be put to the proof. After one encore the show has ended  – of course with the greatest A.R.P. hit, „Rock The Nation“! A great evening!
