Power Metal vom Feinsten!
Setlist:
- Paradise
- Carry On
- Supernova
- Hail To The King
English translation.
On Father’s Day it was all about Power Metal at the MarX . Manticora from Denmark and Seven Kingdoms from the sunny state of Florida have invited Revendaria from Henstedt-Ulzburg as local support. That gave enough opportunities for head banging. Unfortunately, the MarX was barely half filled. All pictures you can see on Flickr.
At 20 o’clock sharp the local heroes of Revendaria entered the stage. It was impressing what happened there. Power Metal at its best! Who needs American Idol or other casting shows if there is such a rocker offspring. I’m extremely excited to get the debut album, which the band is currently producing! Ingenious introduction to the evening!
Setlist:
- Paradise
- Carry On
- Supernova
- Hail To The King
Next Seven Kingdoms entered the stage. Live wire Sabrina Cruz and her boys showed the high art of U.S. Power Metal. They played songs of the last two albums intoned by her. her shoes were a highlight – Burger design. Powerful riffs, great melodies and the clear vocals of Sabrina. The interaction between the two guitarists was perfectly attuned, as were all three bands of the evening! And the audience was headbanging. A true energy performance of the band and fans!
The main act of the evening, Manticora could easily top the energy level of the evening! This was high-speed power metal, that somewhat reminded me of Dragonforce with guitar player Herman Li. You could not look as fast as the fingers of the two guitar players Kristian Larsen and Stefan Johansson were moving on the fret boards of the guitars. And singer Lars Larsen impressed with appearance and charisma. One of the best metal voices I know. The band was founded in 1997 and has released six albums and one EP since then. However the last release was already four years ago and it is about time for a new one. After this convincing performance in the MarX that shouldn’t be problem!
of course it was guitarist Stefan Johansson in stead of Martin Arendal!!!
Well, I’ve replaced it. But I have this information from the Facebook site of Manticora!
